Christina Havholm
After many years of working a as coordinator in other fields I started working with well known Los Angeles Designer, Melissa Levander. One of the most important things she has taught me, is how to mix and match vintage and modern decor. I love how it can transform a space to add a contemporary look all the while maintaining the comfort and warmth of home. My goal as a designer is to do just that, refresh and invigorate your place while keeping the coziness of home.

My Process
I believe communication is key. I work closely with my clients to get a sense of their style and project needs. There are 5 stages to my process:
- CONSULTATION - The initial meeting to identify the needs of the client and to see if we are a good fit.
- CONCEPTUALIZATION– A presentation of overall concept and ideas through drawings, 3D layouts or boards depending on the type of job.
- DESIGN – A more refined plan with décor details based on client feedback.
- PROCUREMENT – A complete list of items to be obtained or purchased for completion of the project.
- INSTALLATION – The final step before the big reveal. All items are installed and/or furnished before the job is deemed complete.
Niche
Specializing in Small Spaces
As a middle class, Angeleno implant, I have lived in half a dozen apartments all over the city, each presenting it’s own decorating challenges. In 2012, my husband and I bought a small home in Eagle Rock where we still reside. It was a foreclosure with lots of potential and is my own personal project. Our modest home has 2 bedrooms and zero closet space for a 4-person family. As a result it has inspired my creativity in decor and sharpened my organizational skills.
